The City has rolled out the welcome banners, and the weather looks to be excellent at least through Wednesday. The 58th IMCL is ready to launch!

LE PLESSIS-ROBINSON - The program is printed, the badges have arrived, and the venue is ready for the 2022 International Making Cities Livable conference, in this beautiful showcase and laboratory of livable cities.
Twenty-two plenary speakers and fifty-six breakout speakers are currently confirmed, coming from Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia. Speakers will share practical tools and case studies for achieving livability, walkability, implementing the New Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, equity, affordability, resilience, climate adaptation and mitigation, placemaking, tactical urbanism, suburban retrofit, and much more.
Delegates coming from Charles de Gaulle airport can take the RER B train to the Robinson station. It is important to change to the Robinson branch on or before the Bourg-la-Reine station. This can be done by getting off at Bourg-la-Reine and changing to Track 1b. At Robinson, the 179 bus is just outside the door, and the venue is 6 stops down (Cité Jardins stop, then a 5-minute walk to the northwest).

The city is an absolute delight to stroll around, and there are abundant parks and wetlands too. There are many restaurants and cafés in the heart of the city, as this helpful guide suggests:
We look forward to a wonderful meeting in a beautiful city!
